Economy Watch: Emerging Markets View—December 2022

While the global economy is slowing particularly in 2023, emerging markets and developing economies are expected to continue to grow at around 3.5 percent in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Nonetheless, activity is also decelerating in a number of emerging economies, particularly China, Brazil, and Egypt. Others, in particular India, are seeing continued momentum.
