In this research, we use job posting data from Vicinity Jobs and projections from The Conference Board of Canada’s Model of Occupations, Skills and Technology to examine the hiring demand for cybersecurity skills by Canadian employers, and provide recommendations for ways post-secondary institutions can play a role in filling that demand by creating and implementing effective cybersecurity training programs.
