The economic outlook for New Brunswick is a mix of both good and bad news. Tight monetary policy continues to curtail spending and investment in the province. While labour supply remains strong due to immigration growth, we are forecasting a pull-back in overall job numbers. The construction industry will face a downturn this year and next, as several major projects near completion. But overall, the economy does promise some modest gains over the forecast period.
