Associate Director, Economic Forecasting

Cory Renner is the Associate Director of Economic Forecasting at The Conference Board of Canada. He oversees forecasting and modelling across the organization’s economic products and plays a key role in developing new offerings for clients. An experienced modeller, Cory has worked on large-scale sub-national models and has simulated a wide range of economic scenarios—from global demand shocks to the projected impacts of climate plans. He is also a regular contributor to podcasts, webinars, and media engagements.
Cory has held progressively senior roles during his seven years at The Conference Board of Canada. He has made significant contributions to custom projects—particularly in modelling—addressing a wide range of issues, from healthcare to global trade and climate change. Prior to joining The Conference Board, Cory worked at Oxford Economics, where he oversaw the provincial model and managed numerous custom contracts in Canada.
