In this research, we examine the results of our quarterly Index of Business Confidence survey, where we ask firms about their views on their financial status and investment intentions and on the broader economic landscape. A slight decrease in business confidence in this survey may not usher in a period of pessimism as businesses’ overall economic expectations have not changed significantly since the previous survey.

Are interest rates still the major concern or have other issues become more worrisome? How do businesses view the burgeoning importance of AI? Are operational capacities improving?
