In response to a Conference Board, Inc. survey, Canadian C-level executives identified the short-term impacts of hybrid work (a combination of in-office and remote work) on their organizations.
Some of the major findings of the survey are that:
C- executives are implementing hybrid work practices to attract new employees, improve employee retention, and reduce voluntary turnover in the current hyper-competitive market for talent.
While many leaders plan to continue offering hybrid work, 31 per cent of leaders are not convinced that it is a sustainable way to work and view it as a temporary fix.
Most leaders recognize that managers and team leaders will require new skills to adapt to a hybrid work environment, with an emphasis on more effective internal communication.
For the hybrid work world, it is crucial for organizations to listen to and connect with their employees.
