About
Liz Marcil serves as the Associate Director of Human Capital Research at The Conference Board of Canada. With extensive experience in research, Liz leads the Board’s Human Resources (HR) research initiatives, offering valuable insights into critical topics such as crafting competitive total rewards packages, strategic workforce planning, and enhancing the employee experience. Additionally, Liz oversees the Compensation Research Centre, as well as the Council of Human Resources Executives and the Council of Labour Relations Executives.
Past Work Experience
Before joining the Board, Liz spent a decade at the forefront of research in human resource development within both the private and non-profit sectors. With a commitment to developing strategic research initiatives that yield robust and impactful insights, Liz has provided extensive consultation on projects aimed at enhancing the employee experience, strategic workforce planning, and labour market information across several of Canada’s key industries, including hospitality, mining, and agriculture.
