  • Long term, 12 of 27 CMAs still have positive expectations.
  • The CMAs with the biggest year-over-year increase in housing starts in April were Calgary, Abbotsford, Thunder Bay, Hamilton, and Regina.
  • Kingston posted the biggest year-over-year decline in starts in April, and it continues to have negative short- and long-term expectations.
