About
Alejandro Hernandez is a Research Associate II in the Immigration Knowledge Area of The Conference Board of Canada. In this role, Alejandro collaborates with the immigration team to find sounding policy solutions to pressing issues regarding immigration in Canada.
Past Work Experience
Prior to CBoC, Alejandro worked as an Assistant Professor (LTA) at Concordia University in Montreal. In addition, he was a Board of Directors member, Communications Chair, and Elections Officer of the Canadian Association for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (2016-2019). He was also Chair of the Committee for Refugee Issues and member of the Advisory Search Committee for Vice-President (Research and International) at Carleton University.
