Ahmer Gulzar is the Director of Information Technology at the Conference Board of Canada. In this role, Ahmer is responsible for overseeing the deployment and support of company-wide technology initiatives. He works to optimize the use of applications, systems, infrastructure, and processes, ensuring that the CBoC achieves its strategic goals by maximizing efficiency and maintaining effective information security. Additionally, Ahmer focuses on improving information technology practices, offering support, and developing innovative solutions.
Past Work Experience
Before joining the CBoC, Ahmer served as a member of the senior leadership team at the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) as the Director of Information Systems and Web Services. In this capacity, he was responsible for aligning organizational goals with technology strategy and implementation. Ahmer has also held several management positions in the insurance and telecommunication industries. His areas of expertise include technology strategy, infrastructure, enterprise and business architecture, digital services, cybersecurity, people leadership, human resources, and DEI.
