Terry Audla is the Director of Indigenous & Northern Communities at The Conference Board of Canada. In this role, Terry works to raise awareness of reconciliation, economic gaps, and opportunities within Indigenous and Northern Communities.
Past Work Experience
Terry was the President and CEO of the Nunavut Housing Corporation from 2016 to 2021. He served as the President and National Inuit Leader of Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami (ITK), the national organization representing 55,000 Inuit in Canada, from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, he held positions of CEO at Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated and Executive Director at the Qikiqtani Inuit Association (2000-2012). Terry’s career spans three and a half decades during which he progressively increased his leadership roles and worked to improve socio-economic indicators among the Inuit and Arctic Communities.
