About
Kaira joined The Conference Board of Canada in 2022 and works as a senior researcher in the Indigenous and Northern Communities’ knowledge area.
Her work has focussed broadly on health and wellbeing, with a particular interest in Indigenous community wellness, the social determinants of health, and workplace wellbeing.
Past Work Experience
Before CBoC, Kaira was a researcher at the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) where she led work on Indigenous business and economic reconciliation, with a focus on Indigenous women entrepreneurs, and the impacts of the pandemic on Indigenous businesses.
