Last year’s drought pulled Saskatchewan’s real GDP growth into negative territory, the third straight year of decline.
Better days are ahead, as significant growth in the natural resource sectors will push Saskatchewan’s real GDP growth to 7.6 per cent in 2022 and 4.1 per cent in 2023.
Several major capital projects are under way, and real non-residential business investment is set to grow by 6.8 per cent in 2022 and 4.6 per cent in 2023.
