This quarterly survey reflects the opinions of Canada's top forecasting organizations and their outlook for the Canadian economy. Document Highlights Forecasters expect the economy to expand by 6.3 per cent this year, close to the gain anticipated in the spring. Canada’s booming housing market has significantly contributed to the recovery. Consumer prices will increase by 3.0 per cent this year, up from the 2.2 per cent gain expected in the spring.
