This report, Workplace Preferences of Millennials and Gen X: Attracting and Retaining the 2020 Workforce, draws from the national survey of Millennials and Gen X employees. It reveals the many similarities and some differences in work styles and preferences of Millennials compared with Gen X. Then, based on the survey findings as well as the roundtable of leading Canadian organizations, the report provides recommendations for how human resources policies and practices can be shaped to best attract and motivate the 2020 workforce.
