About
A member of the Nipissing First Nation, Julie Pellerin is a fierce Anishinaabe Kwe. She is pleased to join the dynamic team at The Conference Board of Canada as Director of Indigenous & Northern Communities. In this new role, her contributions will support the success of the broader organization, her Indigenous & Northern Communities team, Indigenous Peoples, people living in the North, and key stakeholders.
Past Work Experience
Julie has over 20 years of experience with the Framework Agreement on First Nation Land Management. She supported signatory First Nations in her roles as Manager of Developmental and Operational Support Services (East) and Senior Policy Advisor for Field Support Services.
As Senior Director of the Economic Development and Infrastructure Branch at the Assembly of First Nations, Julie led a team of 25 across multiple sectors: Economic Development; Infrastructure, Housing and Homelessness, and Fisheries.
