Alana Painter is the Director of Human Capital at The Conference Board of Canada. She leads Human Capital research and convening initiatives to deepen understanding of the evolving talent management landscape in Canada, with the goal of delivering meaningful and actionable insights for Canadian organizations.

Past Work Experience

Prior to joining The Conference Board of Canada, Alana was a Principal Consultant on Mercer’s North American Employee Research team. She brings nearly 20 years of consulting experience, advising organizations of all sizes and across a range of sectors with diverse employee populations. Alana specializes in working with leadership teams to deliver comprehensive, insightful analyses of employee research, helping leaders understand key findings and implement strategies that drive organizational improvement. She is also a skilled and passionate educator and facilitator, adept at designing and conducting workshops, focus groups, and interviews with both leaders and employees.
