The Index of Consumer Confidence rose 14.1 points to 105.2 in March (2014 = 100), its largest monthly increase since last June. The index now sits at 87 per cent of its pre-pandemic level.

The monthly Index of consumer confidence is constructed from responses to four attitudinal questions posed to a random sample of Canadian households.
