A Rebound in Hiring Momentum

After a slight dip in September, the hiring index ticked up in October, increasing to 112.5 (2018 = 100.0), its highest level in a year. Compared with last October, however, seasonally adjusted job postings were down 2.1 per cent.

Which regions showed the highest volume of job postings, and to what can this be attributed? What sectors are experiencing the strongest jobs gains, and which are feeling the biggest pullback?
