About
Kevin’s career is built around mobilizing resources to meet community identified needs and aspirations, while bringing a wealth of energy and ideas in his leadership roles. Most recently, Kevin served for twelve years as President and CEO of Vancouver Foundation. He previously served for six years as President and CEO of CARE Canada in Ottawa and co-founded the Humanitarian Coalition in 2005.
Over his 35-year career, he has lived and worked throughout the developing world and served on numerous boards and advisory committees, including Imagine Canada, Community Foundations of Canada, B.C Unclaimed Property Society and as sector co-chair of the Advisory Committee on the Charitable Sector for the Canada Revenue Agency. He is currently on Carleton University’s National Advisory Committee to the Masters in Philanthropy and Non-Profit Leadership program, the Public Policy and Communications Committee of the Pemsel Case Foundation. He is also a member of YPO, a respected business leadership network.
Kevin was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2013 and the King Charles III Coronation medal in 2024. He has been named as one of the top leaders in the non-profit and foundations category for the Top 500 Business Leaders in British Columbia.
Kevin has a Bachelor of Science (Specialist/Honours) from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University and recently obtained the ICD.D designation.
