Director, Strategic Partnerships and Accounts

About
Austin Hracs is the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Accounts at The Conference Board of Canada. He works with leaders across government, post-secondary institutions, and industry to unlock the value of high-frequency labour market data. By combining emerging datasets with forecasts and traditional analysis, Austin helps decision-makers develop better tools, generate sharper insights, and strengthen Canada’s workforce system.
Past Work Experience
Austin was Senior Vice President of Research and Partnerships at Vicinity Jobs Inc. and previously Director of Research and Implementation at Magnet (Toronto Metropolitan University). In both roles, he worked directly with partners to analyze high-frequency labour market data and translate those findings into tools and platforms that governments, educators, and industry could use to make better decisions. Earlier in his career, he worked at MDB Insight (now part of Deloitte), where his research and data analysis informed economic and workforce development strategies for communities across Canada.
