About
Nachum Gabler is a Senior Economist at the Conference Board of Canada. Since joining the Conference Board in 2019 his work has primarily focused on the relationship between labour market indicators and occupational skills. He has also worked on problems related to urban transport and road congestion.
Past Work Experience
Nachum has been analyzing macroeconomic and public policy issues for over 10 years. He previously worked for the Government of British Columbia, the Government of Alberta, as well as other applied research institutes. He is a proponent of rigorous, evidenced-based policy making, and prudent governance that serves all Canadians.
Academic Background
Nachum earned his bachelor’s in economics from York University, a master’s degree in economics from Boston University, and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Victoria. He has also completed certificates in business administration and survey research.
