Kathryn Dennler joined the Immigration Knowledge Area at The Conference Board of Canada in March 2021. Kathryn brings to The Conference Board of Canada a long-standing dedication to immigration issues. She has worked on immigration as a researcher, educator, and service provider for over fifteen years and across five countries.

Kathryn is passionate about bringing people together to develop leading practices that respond to the everyday impacts of immigration systems.

More About Kathryn

Outside her work for The Conference Board, Kathryn is an avid reader of fiction. She also likes to spend time in the great outdoors – in the forest, in a lake, in the sea, or, ideally, in a forest near a large body of water.

Academic Background

Kathryn earned a PhD in Geography at York University, where she focused on how contemporary immigrants to Canada cope with uncertainty about the future.
