About
Jessica Rizk is a Senior Research Associate in the Education & Skills team at The Conference Board of Canada. She leads national, multi-sector research on education, workforce development, and skills, focusing on strengthening systems and frameworks to enhance lifelong learning and workforce readiness across Canada. Jessica bridges research, policy, and practice, fostering collaborations that drive evidence-based change to address the evolving demands of work and education.
Past Work Experience
Prior to joining the Conference Board, Jessica was a researcher at the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario (HEQCO) and held a SSHRC-funded postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Waterloo. She continues to teach at the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University, applying her research expertise to inform education policy and practice. Jessica also holds a SSHRC Insight Development Grant, exploring the role of digital technologies in shaping the educational experiences of children, families, and schools. As an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT), she brings over a decade of experience spanning research, teaching, and policy across K–12 and postsecondary education.
