About
Jahm Mae Guinto is an Economist in the Economic Research Knowledge Area at The Conference Board of Canada. In this role, Jahm applies her expertise in quantitative analysis to provide evidence-based insights on various custom research undertaken by the Board. Her areas of expertise include trade and global value chains, input-output models, system of national accounts, digital economy, and tax (VAT/GST).
Past Work Experience
Jahm has gained diverse professional experience working with private and public sectors as well as academia. Prior to joining The Conference Board of Canada, she was an Economic Research Analyst/Consultant for the Asian Development Bank and the Islamic Development Bank Institute, which gave her a diverse and multilateral perspective to research. As an economic research professional, she has worked with different national statistics offices in Asia and the Pacific on building their statistical and analytical capacities.
