Past Work Experience
Prior to CBoC, Alicia spent the last two decades as an academic researcher, curriculum developer, social program evaluator, and policy analyst working towards mitigating the social inequities experienced by marginalized populations in Canada, with a special focus on children and youth development. She has also been a social justice educator for a number of years in Ontario teacher education programs, helping students identify and unlearn implicit biases, and better navigate systems that inform their teaching philosophy and practice.
