About
Alicia is a Principal Research Associate for the Indigenous and Northern Communities knowledge area at The Conference Board of Canada. Alicia is passionate about using agile and traditional project management methods for community impact. In her role at the Board, she has developed applied research outputs, including a toolkit to support Inuit recruitment and retention in Inuit Nunangat.
Her work has focussed broadly on health and wellbeing, with a particular interest in Indigenous community wellness, the social determinants of health, and workplace wellbeing.
Past Work Experience
Prior to this, Alicia spent over a decade working in post-secondary roles as a research project manager, partnering with Indigenous communities on a life skills program for youth, and as a project manager in workplace wellbeing. She is also a freelance editor, primarily working with Indigenous authors and non-Indigenous authors writing about Indigenous communities and topics.

She is Métis with maternal grandparents from the Nault and Champagne families of the Red River Settlement.
Academic Background
She holds a Masters in Anthropology and a Project Management Professional certification.
