Past Work Experience
Alan brings more than 18 years of experience as an economist. Before joining the Board, he taught undergraduate and graduate courses in economics and leadership at the University of Victoria, serving as an instructor and teaching professor for the Department of Economics, the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business, and the Department of Educational Psychology and Leadership Studies. Alan also held senior economist roles at Statistics Canada and with the Government of British Columbia.
