Reza Mohammadi was born and raised in Afghanistan. He is an HR professional with a Bachelor of Arts of Law and Diploma in Management with over 10 years’ experience working with international NGOs in Afghanistan. Responsible for managing the full-cycle HR recruitment, retention, employee engagement, training and development, compliance, investigations, policy development and administration. Additionally, he also served as a reputable member of the Senior Management and Humanitarian team.
Reza with his family moved to the Netherlands as a protected refugee when the AFG government had failed, where he worked as an HR manager and supported the Oxfam Haque office on the Oxfam phasing out from Afghanistan. After four months he moved to Canada with his family as a government supported refugee. Reza is currently working as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Carleton University. Reza works on building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at Carleton University by providing support and collaborating with team members on various administrative, client-focused service, recruitment, selection, orientation and onboarding processes. Reza works every day to share in Carleton’s Vision and building his life here in Canada. Reza enjoys travelling, exploring new places and trying new things and new foods.
