Rania Younes serves as the Senior Manager of Employer Networks and National Engagement at IEC-BC. In this role, she is instrumental in strengthening the leadership team and bolstering IEC-BC’s programs, as well as employer and stakeholder engagement both in British Columbia and nationally. Her responsibilities include spearheading the national network initiative of the Immigrant Employment Councils of Canada, which encompasses 12 IECs across Canada. With over 17 years of progressive experience in marketing, Rania is adept at devising impactful strategies, ensuring strategic clarity, framing value propositions, conducting participatory research, and managing stakeholder relations. For the past decade, Rania has worked alongside various equity-seeking groups and co-founded a grassroots initiative that partners with local community organizations to address and bring attention to settlement challenges and opportunities. This initiative aims to foster a vibrant network where newcomers are welcomed with openness and enthusiasm. Additionally, she co-founded a networking and mentoring platform that aids professionals from racialized communities in navigating new environments and advancing their careers.
