Marco Giertz founded Stockholm Discovery in 2007 as part of a training programme on
entrepreneurship – the Business Lab Incubator – at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Since 2015, he has been a lecturer for professional visits to Stockholm Kista Science City and
proactively worked with matching international companies with local Kista firms.

Marco has extensive and thorough experience from many different kinds of visits with
companies, delegations and educational institutions. With a Master’s degree in business and
international economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and as a qualified Stockholm
tourist guide, Marco has extensive knowledge of such subjects as economics, politics and
history. Marco has also studied Industrial economics at the Royal Institute of Technology and
the Politecnico di Milano and has lived in many different countries.

Marco has also had regular assignments as a guide at the Swedish Parliament.
