Lisa Lalande is the CEO of Century Initiative, a charity with a mission to enhance Canada’s long-term prosperity, resiliency and global influence by responsibly growing the population of Canada to 100 million by the year 2100.

Over the course of her career, Lisa developed a track record for improving organizations’ accountability, performance metrics, and overall capacity; positioning organizations for growth and delivering strong results. She is recognized for her proficiency in translating research into useful knowledge and policy insights. Lisa has designed and delivered regional and national events on public policy and impact solutions; and led teams on learning tours and affordable home building projects in cities across the country, the UK, USA and Haiti.

Lisa has held a number of executive management positions in organizations focused on policy research and knowledge mobilization, venture philanthropy, and affordable housing. She spent the early part of her career supporting large scale cost-cutting initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and change management initiatives in the financial services sector. Lisa is an accomplished public speaker on non-profit sector policy issues, philanthropy, social innovation and social impact.
