Laura has been with CIBC since 2015 and her overall career spans over 16 years in
retail
banking including sales, service, lending, financial planning, leadership and
human resources.
She is a passionate and enthusiastic leader, focused on building relationships,
developing
teams and supporting communities. In her most recent role, she is responsible
for the Lending
Solutions Contact Center for CIBC, leading a national team to support client
ambitions. She is
an active member of the internal ESG’s called the People Networks, currently the
resource lead
for the Women’s Network, active member on Employee Engagement and the One For
Change
committees. She spearheaded establishing the partnership with Tent, represents
CIBC at the
Refugee Roundtable with The Honourable Senator Ratna Omidvar and actively works
with
national newcomer associations to match talent to meaningful employment
opportunities. When
not at work, you can find Laura in the wilderness hiking and sustainably
foraging or shopping at
local farmer’s markets.
