Emily Walsh is a Lead Investor at Georgian. In this role, Emily leads investments in high growth business software companies including sourcing investment opportunities, leading the due diligence process and advising companies post-investment. Emily is a member of Georgian’s Steering Committee and leads the fund’s ESG strategy which covers portfolio, pipeline and internal activities.  Emily serves on the boards of Vention and Tractable and as a board observer to Contentstack, Bidgely and WorkFusion.

Prior to joining Georgian, Emily worked at McKinsey & Co. as a management consultant. While there, she led engagements in organizational transformation with a focus on bringing digital tools and new operational processes to finance and insurance institutions.  Emily holds an MBA in Finance from The Johnson School at Cornell University where she was a Park Leadership Fellow and a BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School.
