By day, Carrie Bjola is the enterprising leader of Service Hospitality, championing workplace safety with the compassion of a seasoned RN and the strategy of a public administration pro. With over two decades of experience in occupational health, she’s advised organizations, shaped policies, and helped thousands of employees work safer, smarter, and healthier.
Before stepping into her current role in 2022, Carrie led health, safety, and wellness initiatives for the Government of Saskatchewan, overseeing programs that supported over 12,000 employees across 18 ministries. If there’s a way to make workplaces safer and stronger, she’s either found it, improved it, or is already working on it!
But when she’s not making the world a safer place, you’ll find her enjoying the great outdoors, serenaded by birds who may or may not be singing a heartfelt ballad about risk reduction. Her secret weakness? Freshly baked treats, because even safety experts know the true danger of an unattended cookie tray. Whether she’s leading thousands or indulging in a well-earned sugar fix, Carrie brings passion, dedication, and just the right amount of sweetness to everything she does.
