By maintaining a consistent, evidence-based spotlight on results, we ensure that critical national priorities remain visible, even as news cycles shift. Many of the changes required will be difficult and long-term. They demand persistence, follow-through, and a sustained focus. Our role is to help keep the country’s attention on what matters most.

Our purpose

We are the only organization in Canada positioned to deliver this level of independent, long-term measurement.

As a trusted, non-partisan organization with over 70 years of research leadership and nearly 100 economists and researchers, we can rigorously assess, validate, and communicate Canada’s progress.

While other organizations may convene conversations, no national mechanism exists to ensure policy ideas are widely understood, tested, effectively implemented, and tracked over time. Our rigorous, data-driven approach fills that gap. We will provide the clarity and accountability needed to turn bold ideas into measurable national outcomes.
