The Bold Ideas for Canada Listening Tour is a series of high-energy events designed to surface strategic, practical ideas to strengthen Canada’s prosperity. Each session brings together a highly curated mix of leaders, innovators, and changemakers from business, government, education, non-profits, and Indigenous organizations.

These are not traditional conferences or panel discussions. Each event is a dynamic, interactive working session where participants share their insights, collaborate across sectors, and co-create solutions to Canada’s most pressing challenges.

The ideas and solutions generated through the Listening Tour will be documented in regional reports. At the end of the Tour, a national summary report will bring together insights from across the country, outlining what is needed to strengthen Canada’s prosperity, how to achieve it, and the key considerations for success.

To move from ideas to action, the Centre will share these reports widely with partners and stakeholders to inspire collaboration, inform policy, and catalyze real change. Through ongoing engagement, the CCGP will help connect the right people, resources, and organizations needed to turn bold ideas into impact.

Our Listening Tour commenced in September 2025 with Bold Ideas for Canada: Toronto, setting a strong foundation for the conversations ahead.

Bold Ideas for Canada: Toronto

Hosted at George Brown College in partnership with Shad Canada, these events convened over 75 Canadian thought leaders from across sectors.

Participants engaged in dynamic, solutions-focused discussions and heard insights from two distinguished speakers: The Honourable Bill Morneau and Dr. Rohit Ramchandani.

These milestone gatherings marked the official launch of our national effort to surface bold, actionable ideas that can drive Canada’s prosperity.

The Digital Town Hall

Alongside the in-person Listening Tour events, the CCGP will host Digital Town Halls in each region of Canada. These virtual sessions give participants the opportunity to learn about the Centre, hear from bold thinkers, and—most importantly—share their own ideas for Canada’s future.

Each Digital Town Hall will launch an interactive online forum where people across the region can contribute their perspectives on what Canada needs to do to thrive. Insights gathered through these discussions will be included in the national summary report.

Together, the Listening Tour and Digital Town Halls help democratize information and ensure that every Canadian voice contributes to shaping a better future.
