Wellness Initiatives: Trends in Organizational Health Management highlights why investing in employee well-being makes good business sense. The report examines how Canadian employers are approaching their corporate wellness strategies and demonstrates employers’ ongoing commitment to employee health promotion and wellness initiatives. It documents the prevalence of these initiatives in Canadian workplaces and illustrates that employers consider employee health broadly (e.g., physical and mental health). The report is based on a survey—conducted by The Conference Board of Canada in 2016—of 205 Canadian employers. The survey is supplemented by one case study and a brief review of the research literature.
