The 2017 Public Sector HR conference challenged participants to ask whether or not their organization was ready. The Public Sector HR 2017 Conference: Building “Next Generation” HR for a “Next Gen” Public Sector was held in Ottawa on February 21–22. Based on our observations at the conference, we offer 34 key insights that emerged from the interactions between 157 public sector HR leaders and 18 expert presenters, organized under the six key principles that will define HR transformation in the future.
