This month’s data releases from Statistics Canada paint the picture of an economy firing on nearly all cylinders, experiencing some of the strongest growth since before the financial crisis. GDP in June was up again for the 11th time in the past 12 months, and GDP for the second quarter came in at an annualized rate of 4.5 per cent.
