  • Most cities have positive short-term expectations, but long-term expectations are still largely negative.
  • The CMAs with the biggest year-over-year declines in housing starts in April were Oshawa, Moncton, Saskatoon, St. John’s, and Victoria.
  • For the second month in a row, Greater Sudbury had the biggest year-over-year increase in housing starts.
