It’s All About You: Building Capacity in Cyber Security

Research conducted with the support of The Conference Board of Canada’s Centre for National Security (CNS) shows that we, as individuals, fail to make effective cyber risk decisions because we lack a good understanding of our digital vulnerabilities and the potential consequences of our actions. It’s All About You identifies and provides ideas on building the kind of knowledge and understanding that we require to effectively contribute to our own personal digital security as well as that of organizations and nation-states that are increasingly dependent on digital infrastructure, devices, and applications. The report is enhanced with “real-life” examples of technological failures and accidents that show the gravity of consequences that can be expected when sophisticated cyber attacks succeed in reaching critical systems or their components.
