Spending Eases Following Exceptionally Strong Vacation Season

Regional ICS scores fell across the board, with Alberta experiencing the smallest decrease and Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.) experiencing the greatest decrease. P.E.I.’s drop in its ICS coincides with the province entering the tail end of its travel and tourism season. Headline consumer price growth accelerated in September, due to a slower decline in travel tours and a higher increase in grocery prices
