Fostering Autonomy: Employee Preferences for Workplace Flexibility

In this research, we analyze the survey results of 2,508 Canadian labour force participants, and present their preferences for working in person and remotely and having flexible work schedules.

How many employees are satisfied with their current work arrangement regarding location and schedule? What is their ideal working arrangement? To what extent do the preferences of different groups of employees (e.g., based on gender, age, or occupation) converge?
