Document Highlights

After decreasing by 5.2 per cent in 2020, Saskatchewan’s real GDP will expand by 3.8 per cent this year, with a larger growth of 4.3 per cent on the horizon in 2022.

A major drought this year has decimated the province’s agricultural output, which we expect to fall by 8.8 per cent this year.

Employment growth slowed over the summer, but a full recovery is in store for the middle of 2022.
