Document Highlights

This report is one of a series on human capital challenges in Asia-Pacific. In response to the high ranking of employee engagement as a significant challenge among organizations in Asia-Pacific, The Conference Board surveyed human capital professionals from 98 companies across nine Asia-Pacific countries on the topic. It was found that companies that survey and measure employee engagement—and follow up with employees by communicating the results of that survey and actions being taken by the company—are managing employee engagement effectively. Leveraging the positive impact of work-life balance is also paying dividends in the effort to boost and maintain employee engagement.
