Canadians’ Inflation Expectations provides and analyzes the results of a monthly survey that collects the Canadian public’s outlooks on what inflation will be over the next one and three years.

After briefly stalling , average inflation expectations have resumed easing in June. From March to May, the one-year average inflation expectation was stagnant at 3.5 per cent. From December 2023 to May 2024, the average three-year inflation expectation remained at 3.7 per cent.
