Automation technologies and Canada’s labour market: Measuring the totality of exposure

In this research, we examine how exposed Canada’s labour market is to automation technologies, including AI, robots, autonomous vehicles and drones, virtual and augmented reality, and connected devices.

We introduce a framework to study the impacts of adopting these technologies, setting up future research that will examine which jobs and industries are most likely to benefit from automation and which are most likely to be disrupted.
