Documents Highlights

Building the Corporate Community Economic Development Team combines an analysis of the findings of a survey of 119 companies with 17 case examples that examine the types of partnership teams companies form to undertake community economic development (CED) and the results the team efforts have produced. The report examines the nature and scope of these teams; the forms CED takes; the business goals that prompted them, and the impact these efforts have had on companies and communities. Companies generally report that their CED initiatives provided both anticipated and unexpected benefits and that these programs will continue at their current rate or grow.
