Building ideas from scratch into multi-million dollar enterprises is a momentous feat for anyone to achieve. And while men and women have similar initial business aspirations, they also appear to have different approaches, experiences, and challenges throughout their entrepreneurial journeys.

The Conference Board of Canada explored these gender differences through research conducted with men and women who are leading tech start-ups. On March 30, 2022, we will discuss the unique challenges both men and women entrepreneurs face in order to successfully scale up their businesses and share recommendations for both venture capitalists and other entrepreneurs.

Join this unique panel discussion followed by a Q&A session with Marie Chevrier Schwartz (CEO and Founder, Sampler), Matt Golden (Founder and Managing Partner, Golden Ventures), Kerry Liu (EVP, Kinaxis), and Emily Walsh (Lead Investor, Georgian).

The authors of the research, Susan Black, CEO of The Conference Board of Canada and Lauren Florko, Senior Research Associate at The Conference Board of Canada, will lead the discussion and Q&A session.
